Chalmers University of Technology and the Wingquist Laboratory welcome you to the 8th biannual conference, NordDesign 2010, on methods and tools for product and production development. The conference will be held at Chalmers in Göteborg, Sweden on August 25-27th, 2010.
New business needs and conditions require fast, flexible, and highly customized global product and production development processes. New products, corresponding to new demands, must reach the market faster than before. Effective and efficient product realization requires a holistic view of the product realization process, high level of system thinking and methods and tools for evaluation and verification of product and production concepts.
This 8th biennial conference serves as a Nordic complement to the large European and American conferences within the field of Engineering Design and Product Development, but we also welcome participants from other countries.
The conference is organized by Chalmers University of Technology and the Wingquist Laboratory in cooperation with the Design Society and comply to the Design Society’s rules and quality standards with respect to review process, publication etc.
